strawberries with a touch of green polka dots

if you can sew a straight line you can make this dress. i bought the fabric at joanne's. it is premade with the gathering at the top. i had the fabric cut and little larger than the distance around little girls chest and then sewed a straight seem down the side. i added the ric rac to the bottom, a monogram, and some lovely large bows (can bows ever get too big?...don't answer that...we won't agree...unless you are from the south...southern women know how to rock a large bow or two:). the ribbon was at hobby lobby 50% off this week. total cost...$11.00.
~type to you soon~

Now she will match our girls!!! we have some coordinating strawberry outfits that we got at gymboree last fall that the girls have been waiting ever so patiently to wear. They are wearing them to church this Sunday.

And a bow can never be too big. Big and bow go together like a horse and carriage, like lots and chocolate, like pink and shoes...ha ha.

Oh, and the basket sits next to my bathtub for now--THANKS!!!

love U!

so cute. i love it. it looks like the fabric is made for girls of a certain height though. i wouldn't think a 3 year old could wear it with the length being that long. am i right?
