foolish heart

foolish heart, foolish thinking, foolish spending, yadda, yadda, yadda. if only i had known the money i could save 10 years ago instead of a year and a half. i just wanted to show you all some pictures of the realization that i had earlier.
consider this angle...if purchased for full price this is the amount of groceries i would have received from "let's go krogering" today.
side view of the same set of groceries
groceries that were brought home. a squanderous( probably not a word) stash of items that technically i got for free with the use of coupons. i did pay something for these items they were not "free" but if i had been shopping today like i used to...(my thoughts drift back to that time)...you get my point.
all of this was basically free...more or less...
good times, good times
in the life of a couponing girl.
how are you doing on saving this year?
btw...having and organized home is an integral part in the whole stockpiling and saving your family money on all kinds of items. that is why i would like to spend january focusing on organization so in february we can bridge the gap of savings on things other than grocery items. this is really a lifestyle that i would highly recommend, but only if you want to:). please don't feel any pressure from a freakishly anal chick who enjoys organizational tasks and checking off lists.
~type to you soon~

Hi Le!
One of my goals this year is to increase my weekly savings. When I first started I was saving much more than now but every little bit counts! Thanks for all the tips/pictures of your organization!

Le, I had to laugh because I'm on my computer printing out labels for my Family notebook. You'll have to check it out.
