meat

many of you have asked about the meat that i purchased from a local farmer. while the convenience of the meat was excellent and the overall taste of the meat we fine, it was what i would consider a little on the "gamie" side on the taste and smell. i have been doing more research on meats and where to purchase grass fed meat because that is the best and healthiest type to eat. i have a very knowledgeable friend who also has been doing her own research and she came across this site. http://www.eatwild.com/products/index.html . the site lists many different farms that sell only grass fed animals raised using organic practices. i am going to contact a couple of the ones that are closets to me tomorrow. i will let you know prices and distances that need to be travelled to get the meat. if any of you are interested let me know.
~type to you soon~

thanks for the tip shan!

hey le,
i noticed that the health food market in florence sells this type of meat. there's a place on the site that tells where to buy it in stores. i'll be buying at our good foods co-op or farmers market...if i ever get there!
